Established in 1995 by two adept thinkers Joe van Rooyen and Johan Stopforth. They opened an office in Brackenfell, Cape Town and attend to general legal work but mostly concentrating in Property and Commercial Law. Stopforths expanded further by adding Kim da Rocha to their entourage in 2006, bringing female vibrancy to the directorate.
Stopforths is committed to personal empowerment and the advancement of previously disadvantaged individuals as a means of redressing the social and economic imbalances of the past. Black economic empowerment (BEE) is a corporate imperative and is being addressed in terms of ownership and control, employment equity, skills development, preferential procurement and corporate social investment. Stopforths' ethos is to provide efficiency, expertise and excellence to our clients that are fundamental to modern business success. |
